Water Storage Capacity On Mayreau Increases By 50000 Gallons

5 pilot projects are nearing completion in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the projects are being carried out under the UNDP J-CCCP program.

In Mayreau, total water storage capacity has been increased by 50,000 gallons, and 50 households have improved access to drinking water.

On mainland St. Vincent, 335 meters of climate resilient roadways and drainage were constructed.

Other projects in St. Vincent and the Grenadines focus on enhancing irrigation capacity to improve climate resilience among small farmers, building resilient road infrastructure, and adopting climate resilient agro-pastoral practices and technologies.
