Weak surface to low-level instability affecting SVG

1 Min Read

Weak surface to low-level instability is affecting St Vincent and the Grenadines, according to the SVG meteorological office.

A “weak surface low” refers to an area of low atmospheric pressure near the Earth’s surface that has a relatively small impact on weather patterns compared to a stronger low-pressure system.

The Met Office says there will be mostly cloudy with intermittent scattered light to moderate showers throughout the day.

The winds are SE at 15 to 25 km/h with the seas slight to moderate in open water, with swells 1.0m to 1.5 m.
