Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can expect breezy conditions for the next few days. Lingering instability could allow cloudy conditions to persist into early Friday with a possibility for some scattered evening showers.
Models indicate another weak trough should cross the islands during early Saturday, generating cloudy skies on the mainland and suggests the majority of the shower activity mainly across the Southern Grenadines. A few late afternoon isolated showers are quite likely for Sunday.
A predominantly east northeast to easterly moderate to strong (20km/h-45km/h) flow is expected over the next 72 hours, with the strongest(closer to 45 km/h) of these trades crossing the islands around Friday.
Consequently, as a result of the increased wind speeds, sea conditions will gradually deteriorate from Friday into Saturday, with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts. In addition, there will be no haze intrusion within this forecast period.
