Shakeup a day time talk program started by the late Glen Jackson and hailed as the leading political talk show in SVG has been dealt a blow.
The program which is broadcasted live from the studios of WEFM and re transmitted on Star FM owned by the Unity Labor Party, has had its air time cut by one hour.
The program which begins at 10 am and ends at 2pm, will now end at 12.15 pm.
Management of WEFM told News784 the station would be making some changes to its programming lineup.
A new program called “Beyond The Headlines” hosted by Sehon Marshall will begin at 1pm effective Monday 12th November, the changes to Shakeup takes effect today as well.
Shakeup is hosted by ULP party personnel and government officials including Elson Crick, and Press Secretary Hans King.
Political pundits say the timing of diminished air time might be bad for the ruling party with just two years to go before general elections in 2020.
