A 40-year-old woman who was stabbed in a domestic dispute earlier this week has died. Vester Rawlins sustained stab wounds on Tuesday night and was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
She has since been in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition, Rawlins succumbed to her injuries this morning.
Police say Rawlins was stabbed by her Common- Law- Husband at their home. One of her children was also hurt during the incident.
Her boyfriend Emerald Mac a 54 yr old Labourer of Richland Park is being kept in custody at the Calliaqua Police Station.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
