The government continues to ensure that works on bridges in the North Leeward area, which suffered structural damage from weather systems, are being corrected.
A contract has been awarded to Sea Operations Limited to complete remedial repair works on the Fitz Hughes and Chateaubelair, Sharpes bridges in the North Leeward constituency.
Following the signing of the contract a few weeks ago, work is likely to commence after the geotechnical assessments of both sites.
Residents are advised that traffic changes in the area will occur going forward.
Meanwhile, Slope Stabilization works in the area known as English Gutter in Troumaca has been completed.
The project was funded by the government through a loan from the World Bank under the Regional Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (RDVRP).
