Our very first Mission of the year starts off strong with a general surgery clinic packed with 57 patients from around the Eastern Caribbean.
Dr. Jeff Lukish, our lead surgeon, and his team have 24 children scheduled within the week to receive life-changing surgery.
Some of the children going through surgery have potentially life-threatening conditions which would be discovered through examination in St.Vincent’s pathology labs from samples taken by the surgical team.
The children who require further care will be referred to our medical teams and operations in Richmond, United States.
