Rise Up Bequia Inc. is even more ecstatic than previous years as we have realized our goal of providing all students on Bequia with school supplies through our annual book donation drive for 2018.
This year saw a grand total of one thousand students on the island gifted with packages of notebooks, copybooks, rulers, pencils, pens and loose leaves; a market value of $34,000.
Rise Up Bequia Inc. recognizes and thanks Bequia Mission for their donation towards the purchase of the books.
This worthy venture, however, would not have been possible without funds procured from our annual Talent Expo.
As such we are extremely thankful to FLOW, BOSVG and Hairoun for generously sponsoring the show. A special thank you is also extended to Theresa Cordice, Leona Bunyan, Graig Friday, Delia “Ponka” Williams, Cuttie Tannis, Donette Cordice Ollivierre and Tracy Mannings for their donations and the many others who helped and volunteered their time.
Rise Up Bequia Inc. will also like to thank all who support our worthy cause by participating or being a patron of our Talent Expo or by being our cheerleaders.
