2023 Wildlife hunting season now closed

The wildlife hunting season has ended, and anyone caught shooting wildlife faces a $2,000 fine and a 6-month prison sentence.

The Department of Forestry informed the public in a Facebook post about the end of the wildlife hunting season, which ran from October 1 to December 31, 2023.

The Forestry Department has had to restrict wildlife hunting since the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano in 2021 and its devastating consequences on wildlife.
