Police are investigating a report of Robbery made by a 25 year old Unemployed of New Montrose against two (2) armed masked men on 07.05.19.
According to reports, the masked men who were armed with a gun and a pair of scissors robbed the virtual complainant a quantity of items valued at five thousand three hundred and fifty-five dollars (EC$5,355.00) and eighty two dollars (EC$82.00) in cash. The incident occurred at Cemetery Hill on 06.05.19.
The Police Force is therefore advising persons to be cautious when travelling about these areas. We are also advising anyone with vital information that will aid with the investigation and the prosecution of the offender(s) or any other reports, to divulge same to the Assistant Commissioner in charge Crimes at 1784-456-1339, the Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 1784-456-1810 or through any other police outlet they are comfortable with.
