Lawyer Jaundy Martin is to be appointed the next Attorney General of St Vincent and the Grenadines. News784 was reliably informed that Martin would replace the present Attorney General Judith Jones Morgan.
Martin, who has been practising law for over 15 years, would take up office later this year. In May of this year, it was announced that Government was looking for a replacement to fill the position held by Morgan.
Judith Jones Morgan is St Vincent and the Grenadines longest serving Attorney General, spanning 16 years. She was appointed Attorney General on the assumption of the ULP to Office in 2001.
