Hon. Saboto Caesar is today attending a meeting in Jamaica of Maritime Ministers.
The meeting will seek to address Maritime Transportation, and specifically the harnessing of the Blue Economy for the Sustainable development of the Caribbean.
The conference hosted by the Maritime Authority of Jamaica and the International Maritime Organisation will bring together regional policymakers to address opportunities for enhancing the use of the Blue Economy of the Caribbean.
The World Bank, the Caribbean Maritime University and the Caribbean Development Bank will be making technical presentations to the forum.
