Chauncey Man On Drug And Money Laundering Charge In Grenada

Another drug bust in Grenada has resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cannabis, the confiscation of just over two thousand five hundred dollars, the uprooting of twenty-four (24) cannabis trees ranging from seedlings to four feet and charges laid against another Vincentian.
Vincentian Junior Jamal Charles, a 30-year-old Carpenter and resident of Chauncey Village were charged along with two other individuals.
The trio which included a  female was nabbed on Sunday 10th May, 2020 about 03:30 a.m. during a search of a house in Mt. Granby, St. John.
All three have been charged with varying drug offences including Possession of a Controlled Drug, Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply to Another and Cultivation of Controlled Drug.
They are Junior Jamal Charles, 30 years, Carpenter, resident of Chancey Village, St. Vincent, Ramon Ogiste, 36 years, Construction Worker of Gouyave Estate and Della Simon, 33 years, Vendor of Douglaston, Gouyave, St. John.
A charge of Money Laundering was also laid against Vincentian Junior Charles.
The other two are Grenadian Ramon Ogiste, 36-year-old Construction Worker and Della Simon, a 33-year-old vendor.
