20 years old Thravis Joseph from the community of Choppins who was recently remanded into custody to await a report from medical officials at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital following an incident between himself and his 20 years old cousin has been allowed bail.
Terry Davis on May 21st, 2018 sustained severe wounding to his body with a land mower blade from his cousin.
Joseph has been allowed bail after he re-appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, May 28th, before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne to have his bail reviewed.
Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche told the Court that he was waving his objection as the victim Davis has since been discharged from the hospital.
As a result, he was allowed bail in the sum of $7,000.00 with one surety. Joseph is to report to the Calliaqua Police Station on Mondays between 6 am and 6 pm, he is to surrender all travel document to the Court and is not to leave the state without the express permission of the Court.
Joseph would return to Court on September 18th, 2018 when a Preliminary Inquiry is expected to commence.
