Four thousand seven hundred and eighty eight (4,788) farmers will receive payments tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd December, 2020, as the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines honours its promise to farmers, to make two (2) payments of five hundred dollars ($500.00) each towards the COVID-19 Relief Initiative.
The first payment series is completed. The second payment amounting to $2,394,000.00, will be made at Kingstown, Barrouallie, La Croix, Langley Park, Lauders, Park Hill, and Rose Bank from 10:30am.
All farmers are requested to bring along a valid form of identification.
Kindly note, one hundred and eighty (180) farmers did not come forward to collect payments made available from the first payment series. An opportunity will be given to these farmers to collect same before Thursday 31st December, 2020.
