Cruisers, while walking along the shoreline of Salt Whistle Bay, Mayreau, were robbed of a phone, cash, and credit card.
The cruisers reported to CSSN that while walking, an individual emerged from the nearby bushes and stole their bag containing a phone, cash, and credit card.
“We gave chase but were not successful. We also found a knife the individual who robbed us had dropped.”
A report was made to the police and Coast Guard, who, according to CSSN, seem to be very familiar with the individual who was identified.
“He confessed, surrendered the phone (not the cash or credit card), and was taken into custody and transported to Union Island”, is reporting.
It is understood that similar outstanding charges are pending against the individual who carried out the robbery.
