In the framework of a working visit to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Cuban Vice Minister of Public Health, Regla Angulo Pardo Rule led a high-level Cuban delegation on a tour of the Georgetown Diagnostic Center, built and equipped with Cuban cooperation
Twenty-three Cuban collaborators work in the Modern Medical Center of Georgetown, including medical specialists, nurses, laboratory technicians, other health technicians and a medical electronic.
At the beginning of the tour of the center, Mr. Cuthbert Knights, Permanent Secretary of Health, Wellness and Environment, said that this work is the fruit of collaboration and friendship between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and a product of the generosity and solidarity of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Subsequently, the delegation held several meetings with Cuban medical health personnel in their places of residence.
The Ambassador of Cuba, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, the Second Secretary Víctor Simon and the Chief of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Dr. Nelson Vicente Díaz Lobo, accompanied the delegation.
