A one-year-old child who went missing on a family outing to Top Side Paruima Falls in Region Seven on Wednesday afternoon was discovered dead in the Kamarang River.
Romeil Delgado’s family conducted an all-night hunt to find his remains.
The child’s mother told detectives that she took him and other relatives to the river with her boyfriend on Wednesday afternoon.
She stated that she had left her son at the river’s edge in the care of her brother while she checked on her sleeping daughter. However, when she returned, it was discovered that the youngster had gone missing.
An alert was sounded, and the hunt for the child began.
The Romeil’s lifeless body was discovered in the river shortly before midnight.
According to the authorities, there were no signs of violence on the child’s body, and it is believed that he strayed into the river and perished.
An investigation has already begun.
