IFRC Africa is reporting an outbreak of locust with the epicenter located in Awdal and Sahil in Somaliland or the Horn of Africa.
SRCS teams are helping farmers and pastoralists practice mechanical control by digging trenches for the advancing bands of hoppers to fall in and then bury; protecting their crops.
