Justice Richard Floyd will act as a temporary judge for criminal cases in the High Court of St. Vincent and the Grenadines during Justice Brian Cottle’s absence.
Justice Floyd, who was born in Canada, is scheduled to commence formal responsibilities today, on Friday, January 19th.
According to the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, Justice Floyd has held positions as a Crown Counsel in Canada, adjudicated cases in the British Virgin Islands, served as Head of the Criminal Division, and worked as a prosecutor in Australia.
