On 7.01.24, Police arrested and charged Vivian Sutherland, a 53-year-old Labourer of Sandy Bay/ Arnos Vale with the Offence of Grievous Bodily Harm.
According to the investigations, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 55-year-old Labourer of Diamond by striking him on his forehead with a piece of metal pipe. The offence was committed in Arnos Vale on the 05.01.24 about 4 p.m.
Sutherland appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Monday January 08, 2024, for arraignment. He was not called upon to plea to the indictable charge.
He was remanded at His Majesty Prison until January 15, 2024, for a bail review. The complainant remains hospitalized.
