Lawyer Jomo Thomas says Former MP attacked him in Kingstown

1 Min Read

Former speaker of the House of Assembly Jomo Thomas says he was attacked on Saturday night at Heritage Square by Dr. Jerrol Thompson.

Thomas, who refers to Thompson as one of PM Gonsalves’ clansmen, claims Thompson threw punches at him all because he told him he couldn’t talk.

“He fired punch after punch.” I deflected them. I smiled and never returned a punch. “With my training, I could have taken his eyes, throat, balls, sternum, and legs,” Thomas said in a Facebook post.

“But as the wise ones say, when anger takes hold, reasons depart.” “Gonsalves needs to tell his troops that a culture of arguments does not entail violence,” Thomas stated.

“According to the most recent COVID data, the last two COVID deaths occurred among fully vaccinated individuals,” Thomas said.
