A man who has been identified as the individual who inflicted the life threatening wound on a Byrea resident on Tuesday morning is now in police custody.
According to information the individual has been identified as Lawerence Dabriel, 54yrs old.
Information further reveals that the victim know as “mike” was returning from tethering his animals, when he was met by Dabriel who according to reports use the victims cutlass to inflict the life threatening wound.
Police are now investigating the matter.
