Dwayne Sandy Shot And Killed In Calliaqua
Kingstown – St Vincent: – Former Goalkeeper for St Vincent and the Grenadines national football team was shot and killed on Friday 21st May in the town of Calliaqua.
News784 was informed of a shooting sometime around 8.30 pm, which left the football player Dwanie (Tall Man) Sandy dead.
According to information Sandy’s girlfriend was also shot in the arm at the scene of the incident.
Dwayne Sandy was (born 19 February 1989) is a football player for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national football team. He has played on the under 20 and the under 23 teams for St Vincent in the past few years.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation is shocked and deeply saddened by the events of Friday, May 21, 2021, which resulted in the passing of current Senior National player, Mr. Dwanie ‘Tall Man’ Sandy.
Sandy represented the Senior Men outfit as the number one choice goalkeeper for a number of years. He last donned the national colors on March 30, 2021, in an emphatic 3-0 win against Aruba in Curacao.
The SVGFF fraternity extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, his club, and teammates of Dwanie at this most difficult time.
