- Minors charged with the offence of Theft
On August 26, 2024, Police arrested and jointly charged two minors, both residents of Redemption Sharpes with the offence of Theft.
The investigation revealed that the duo allegedly stole the sum of four thousand, nine hundred and fifty-five dollars ($4,950.00ECC), the property of a 47-year-old Chauffeur of Calder Ridge.
The offence was committed on August 24, 2024, at Redemption Sharps. The accused minors appeared before the Serious Offences Court on August 27, 2024 where they pleaded not guilty.
They were granted bail in the sum of $3,000.00ECC with one surety and the matter was adjourned and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate Court for trial on September 9, 2024.
