A concern by government and the residents of communities in North Windward and North Leeward would soon be addressed.
Prime Minister Gonsalves said he was very worried that an area like Georgetown did not have a permanent Fire Tender, and the same goes for North Leeward.
Gonsalves said the Government went ahead with the purchasing of two fire tenders to service the Northern communities and the service vehicles would be in the country by 30th November 2018.
Both fire tenders were bought at a cost of US 600,000 dollars.
He says they were assessed by personal from the fire department to be very useful for areas where the larger fire tenders cannot access.
Gonsalves says he has asked for a review, with CWSA to make sure that fire hydrants are in the necessary locations.
