There is still no official announcement as to who will head the CDC as all indications are that Chairman, Dennis Ambrose, wants to leave.
A number of persons have been approached but following Cabinet’s meeting Wednesday, no official announcement has been made as to if anyone has been selected.
It was reported that Ambrose is willing to stay on if asked and so far, it is likely he could be asked to serve for another year since a number of persons have shied away from taking up the chairmanship position.
Ambrose has been at the helm of the CDC for the last 15 years and wants to call it a day, as the tenure of the CDC, came to an end last July.
