Tradewinds Exercise 2019 an annual military exercise sponsored by the United States Southern Command will be held from June 14-19, 2019, in St Vincent.
Over 350 military, police and civilian personnel from several Caribbean islands.
Military personnel will also come from the United States, France Canada, the Netherlands, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
The exercise for Tradewinds 2019 will focus on humanitarian assistance, maritime security, disaster relief and field training.
US Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Linda Taglialatela thanked Prime Minister Gonsalves and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for hosting the military exercise in 2019.
