St Vincent football federation mourns the passing of Paul O’Garro.
The SVG Football Federation has expressed condolences to the O’Garro family on the recent passing of former National goalkeeper and dedicated son of the soil, Mr. Paul O’Garro.
Paul played for the GTM Life High Ball team from the 70’s to the 80’s and can be remembered for his contribution with the famous 1979 Vincy Heat team, the 1984 Windward Islands and OECS team and the 1992 Senior Male World Cup team, where he served in the capacity as the Goal Keeper Coach.
Mr. O’Garro’s contribution to the Sport forms part of the much-revered landscape and folklore of Vincentian sporting achievements on the field of play.
The executive, staff and all of the SVG Football Federation extend condolences and best wishes to Paul O’Garro family, friends and the hundreds he positively impacted in his lifetime.
