Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves said in recent weeks the police along with other individuals have been scoring several victories and that is because of the sensible use of intelligence and cooperation with different people.
Gonsalves was speaking at the time on Boom FM on Monday, 17th September 2018.
Gonsalves said he would wish if the police when giving information to the media be more careful in the dissemination of such.
“You cannot give everything as to how you manage to catch the person, and that has to do with the giving of information in Caesar Browne case, the information that was given to an online paper am not too sure which one, but I was advised about the information given”.
Gonsalves said it is more than one occasion where we have seen that sought of thing, the police they cannot give all the information so am putting that as a backdrop, he said.
“What is in the public domain already is that this quote and quote ring is of great interest to the police”.
Gonsalves said the public does not need more information than necessary, but when the charges are laid, and the persons are taken to the court, john public will then know as to how the crime took place.
“I this morning we must commend the police for a good work down and the persons who assisted them”.
