Protoje will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 3 in promotion of his GRAMMY-nominated album Third Time’s The Charm, which was released on September 23, 2022 (In.Digg.Nation Collective/RCA Records).
Fans can watch the reggae superstar perform on NBC on Tuesday, January 3 at 11:35 e/10:35 c.
For his first GRAMMY-nominated album A Matter Of Time (In.Digg.Nation Collective / Overstand Entertainment, licenced to Mr Bongo Worldwide/Easy Star Records), Protoje made his national television debut on this prestigious platform in 2019. He will continue the tradition for his second nod in the Best Reggae Album category.
Additionally, Third Time’s The Charm and its single “Late At Night” featuring Lila Iké were recently named by Rolling Stone as the Best Albums of 2022 and the Best Songs of 2022, respectively.
According to Pat Meschino, a contributor to Rolling Stone, “Protoje smartly lets Jamaica’s trademark rhythms dominate the album’s stunning collages, many of which are imbued with hip-hop and neo-soul components, yielding a progressive reggae identity, and his strongest effort to date.”
The artist/trilogy producer’s of albums about time comes to a close with Third Time’s The Charm.
