- Symcy Williams, shot and killed in Edinboro
St. Vincent and the Grenadines police are now investigating the island’s 54th homicide in 2023.
Symcy Williams was slain in Edinboro on Saturday morning. According to police, a female strolling with Williams was also shot and is now a patient at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
Williams, 30 years old, died at the scene.
Williams death comes on the heels of Dwayne Banfield’s death on Thursday, which took the island’s murder toll to 53.
Banfield, like Williams, was shot and killed in Edinboro, a community on the outskirts of Kingstown.
