According to Caribbean Travel Movement, a new boat service between St. Lucia and St. Vincent will begin during the second week of January 2023.
Caribbean Travel Movement stated that it is “happy to announce” the “much awaited, new, and cheap ferry service” in a news statement.
The company stated that a new weekly boat service to the islands is anticipated to begin in the second week of January.
According to a press statement from the company, “This new ferry service between the islands is very essential as it will provide a much-needed transit link between the two islands.”
Visitors will now be able to go back and forth without having to deal with the inconvenience of changing planes or having to spend more than $1,000 because our introductory price is only $450ec for a return ticket and Caricom children under 12 travel for free, according to the statement.
Citizens merely need ID cards or passports to travel between the islands, the business added.
The boat is very big, according to the business, and can carry 250 passengers in addition to freight and cars.
As we anticipate hosting visiting sports clubs, young entrepreneurs, and regular international stayover tourists visiting either island, this is just one more step toward regional integration, the business added.
CaribbeanTravelMovement, the company, stated that it is eager to have everyone join soon.
