The Cuban Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received in audience by Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at the Government headquarters.
During the cordial meeting, the parties discussed important aspects of bilateral relations and collaboration between the two nations.
The Ambassador gave an update on the measures adopted by the Cuban State to deal with the conjunctural energy situation caused by the siege and illegal restrictions imposed by the Government of the United States on the supply of oil to Cuba.
The diplomat also referred to the firm and organized response of the people and State structures to this situation.
The Vincentian Prime Minister ratified the invariable solidarity of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with Cuba in all scenarios, reiterated his condemnation of the illegal, prolonged and anachronistic blockade imposed by the United States on the largest of the Antilles and assured that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a brotherly and grateful people, stands with Cuba today and for all times.
