UPDATE – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Leon “Turtle” Lee, 35 years old fisherman of Murrays Village.
According to reports, the deceased and Jomo Poyer, a 40 years old body workman was residing in the same dwelling house. On Monday, December 27, 2021 about 7:15 a.m. an altercation allegedly arose between the deceased and Poyer. The altercation resulted in the deceased receiving multiple chop and stab wounds to his body.
Poyer is presently in custody assisting with the investigation.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Stabbing incident in Murray’s Village leaves one man dead
A man was stabbed to death on Monday, 27 December, following what appears to be a family dispute in Murray’s Village.
Sources have identified the man only as (Deno); he is said to be in his 30’s.
Sources tell St Vincent Times a man who was taken into custody is currently assisting the police with their investigation.
