St Vincent and the Grenadines are reporting a total of 32 new cases of COVID-19, from samples tested on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th, and Thursday 27th, May 2021.
Thirteen of the new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from five hundred and one (501) samples processed on Thursday, May 27th, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 2.6%.
Eight new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and seventy-seven (177) samples processed on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 4.5%.
And eleven new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from one hundred and sixty-one (161) samples processed on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 6.8%.
Of the new cases over the three-day period (3) have been linked to emergency shelters. No new recoveries were noted over the Thursday reporting period.
One hundred and eighty-four (184) cases are currently active and twelve (12) persons with COVID-19 have died. Two thousand and twenty-seven (2027) cases of COVID-19 and eighteen hundred and thirty-one (1831) recoveries have been recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
The public is urged to continue to use masks, sanitize, physically distance, and get vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
