St. Vincent and the Grenadines will this year host the Caribbean examinations Council (CXC) regional awards ceremony on Thursday December 6, 2018.
Fifteen youths from across the region will be awarded for their outstanding performances at the 2018 sitting.
The region’s “Most Outstanding Overall” performer by the Caribbean Examinations Council is Keondre Herbert of St. Joseph’s Academy in Antigua and Barbuda.
Herbert secured 20 passes, all grade ones in the subjects he sat earlier this year.
This is the second time in three years that Antigua and Barbuda has produced the top CSEC student within the CXC territories.
In 2015, former St. Joseph’s Academy, Brandon Judnarine received the top regional award from CXC, for gaining 21 Grade One Passes and one Grade Two at the May/June exams.
