Kingstown, SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, July 7, 2021 – On Wednesday, 14th July 2021, the Ladder Foundation SVG would host the inaugural GECCU Spelling Bee Competition. Students from primary schools across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will participate in three rounds of competition: The Maureen Kennedy Preliminary Round, The Arlette Miller Semi-Final Round, and The René Baptiste Final Round.1
To date, there are twenty two schools registered in the competition.

All participating students will receive certificates of participation and goodie bags compliments the General Employees Cooperative Credit Union. The top three participants will receive trophies and cash prizes valuing $1,000 ($500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd place).
The competition will be held at the Frenches House from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m on Wednesday, 14th July 2021.
