On the 25.03 24 police arrested and charged Romano Jacobs, a 22 year old Labourer, Omarie Jacobs , a 20 year old Labourer and Jeron Cockburn, a 25 years old Labourer of Lauders with the Offence of Burglary.
Investigations revealed that the trio went into the St.Clair Dacon Secondary School Canteen as trespassers between 5:30 pm on the 18.03.24 and 4:30 a.m. on the 19.03.24 and stole a quantity of items value one thousand, one hundred and fifty ($1,150.00 ECC).
They were also charged for entering the same building between 5pm on the 20.03.24 and 4:30 am on the 21.3.24 and stole a quantity of items valued at two thousand , five hundred and eighty six and fifty five cents ( $2,586.55 EC) – The property of a 62 year old vendor of Diamond. Entry was gained by forced opening a wooden door on the southern side of the building.
All three are expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charges.
