At 11am on Tuesday 27th August, the storm warning for St Vincent and the Grenadines was discontinued following the passage of storm Dorian.
There have been no major reports of damage across the country, however up to 6 am this morning there were some 126 persons in shelters.
The state electricity company reported that a burning pole would have caused disruption of electricity from South Rivers to Fancy.
The AIA in a release said that the airport would reopen at midday, while capital city Kingstown would reopen on Wednesday morning.
