Following on the heels of what has been described as a successful National Council Meeting at the Russell Cinema Auditorium on November 15th, the Unity Labour Party will hold its 23rd national convention on Sunday 9th December, 2018.
The Annual Convention will take place at the Campden Park Secondary starting at 9:30 AM.
Party officials say the convention would be the 3rd one being held for their victory at the polls in 2015, which saw the party return to office with an 8 seat majority.
Officials also noted that this year four senior post within the party would be up for re-election, they include, Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Political Leader and Deputy Political Leader.
The convention is being held under the theme “Preparing The Way, 5 In A Row”. The party is currently headed by Dr Ralph Gonsalves.
The 22nd convention was also held in South Leeward and that time the Political leader urged supporters to continue defending the gains made by the government thus far and to look forward to further development in hotel construction, Port relocation, a hospitality institute and medical cannabis industry, all of which will created additional jobs the country.
