UPDATE (30/12/2020, 5:39pm AST). There have been no significant changes in activity at La Soufriere volcano since the last update on 29/12/2020.
The UWI-SRC is continuing to monitor the activity and plans are underway to strengthen monitoring networks.
The public is warned to stay away from the volcano until the authorities advise that it is safe to visit.
