St Vincent and the Grenadines is getting ready to welcome back the US Peace Corps volunteers to the island.
Volunteers left the island after what the US Embassy in Barbados said was a potential security threat to the volunteers.
The information of their return was told to News784 via email by an agency spokesperson in Washington D.C.
Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves 3 weeks ago said discussions were being held between the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and US Officials regarding an incident here that led to the removal of the volunteers from the island.
At the time he said local police were conducted investigations into the alleged incident.
Gonsalves had also stated at the time that in due course the respective governments may decide to make appropriate statements on the matter.
