A man whose identity has not been released by police up to press time was shot and killed in Ottley Hall located some five minutes outside of capital city Kingstown.
The man is said to have been wanted by St Vincent police, was discovered hiding out in a house within the community.
Police on searching the house came face to face with the man, who according to sources opened fire on the law enforcement officers, who responded by returning fire.
The man succumbed to his injuries. News784 will update in a later posting.
