The Special Olympics team will be returning home today from the World Games which was held in Abu Dhabi recently.
They will arrive in 2 batches – The first batch is now scheduled to arrive at 7 p.m., with the second one following after.
The Hon. Prime Minister will host a special welcome reception in their honour today in the VIP area around 5:30 p.m.
The team will return home with a haul of 15 medals.6 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze. Listed are the sporting events and athletes who achieved medals and ribbons.
