Yesterday, a 63-year-old woman drowned while swimming at a Turks and Caicos Islands beach.
According to the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF), the unidentified woman got into difficulty about 11:01 a.m. while swimming on a beach near Close Haul Road, Grand Turk.
A medical doctor declared the woman to be deceased.
