The Mustique Charitable Trust has donated EC$60, 000.00 to the Special Olympics St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The monies would go towards Special Olympics United Sports and Football Programme which was launched on August 31 at Victoria Park in Kingstown.
Lavina Gunn, Representative of the Mustique Charitable Trust handed over the money and said it will be used for the development of Special Olympics.
She added, that the focus of the trust to help young Vincentians in venerable communities to improve their lift and to overcome challenges, and believe that the Special Olympics United Sports and Football Programme focuses on making young people with intellectual disabilities more included within their communities.
