The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of Serano Mc Kie, 25yrs, Mechanic of Glen, which occurred about 8:44 p.m. on 06.09.16.
Reports are that the deceased was driving along the Glen Public Road in Motor Vehicle P5901 with a passenger Anthony Newbolt 54yrs of Lowmans Leeward when several gunshots were fired at the vehicle.
The deceased sustained several gunshot wounds about his body and died on the spot while Anthony Newbolt sustained a gunshot wound to his right Leg. He is in stable condition at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
This is the 21st homicide for the year.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body.
