88 Peace Corps Batch Sworn-In

Seven Peace Corps Volunteers will be assuming duties at several schools throughout the country after being officially sworn-in on Monday morning.

The swearing in ceremony for the 88th group of Peace Corps Trainees took place at the Frenches House.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Director of the SVG Peace Corps Office, Cuthbert James, said this batch of volunteer will continue to focus on the Primary English Literacy project.

Meanwhile, Director of Management and Operations for Peace Corps Eastern Caribbean, Christine Strater, said education is vital for growth and development in every society.
