The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Music Professionals (SVGAMP) is a local non-profit organization that represents music practitioners of all genres. The association has worked diligently to promote and develop musical standards in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
It is the association’s vision to create support systems that are integral for the development of the music industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through capacity building, networking, promotion and involvement of stakeholders in the music and entertainment sectors.
As such, SVGAMP sets out to develop a vibrant music industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where music practitioners can achieve their full potential through the production of quality music and services that will positively impact on the wider Vincentian community.
To this end, SVGAMP will host a general meeting on Monday 28th January 2019, at the Peace Memorial Hall. It is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm. The evening’s proceedings will hear remarks from president of the association Mr. Gary Young and other executive members.
One of the main objectives of this meeting is to update the membership on the activities of the organization.
